It's the final count down

I am going to cut out unneeded phrases like "One previous example" and "according to". My sentence flow was not as improved as it was so I will be manipulating awkward sentences. I will explain each of my point I was trying to make because I assumed too much. Chunky and blocky paragraphs will be shortened and sentences will be rearranged in order to have better structure. Lastly, I will clearly establish what I am trying to get to before going into detail about it.

- The sense of humor extends to multiple regions as the ways the captions are spelled and also how the captions are input make a difference as to what humor comes from the picture.

-It is very versatile in the fact it can be re used and still be popular.

-you can easily see how it is funny in the immediate comments people can post on the pictures and can gather information on what is funny or not.

GaGa O Bla Bla

         The arguments made about Lady Gaga show how she is not a sexual icon like those she is following. She is compared to Madonna and others in order to show how she has anonymous blended the border between make and female. This can be shown by her showing videos which disregard the different sexes in order to make her fans look at what she is doing. These argument are great at hammering Gaga's ethos and pathos, and also showed what her points Gaga was trying to make, and then brought forth many facts in order to show the public why Gaga's "points" are wrong.

Three's

             Video sites, video games, and social sites seem to be the most used tools by teens and even adults. There cannot really be a label of good or bad placed on this because of the evidence for either side. All of these are related to electronics which have been argued over for a long time. I am very interested in them because electronics are our generation and i enjoy playing around with any electronic I can get my hands on. Many people around the world have become dependent of electronics one way or another, therefore it can easily be seen as a major role in our society.

OMNNOM!!

Nothing special, it is what I usually have for lunch/dinner. But I do love to eat it. White wrap with barbecue, honey mustard and mayo, grilled chicken with lettuce and a pickle on the side. The part I enjoy about it is the sweetness of the honey mixed with the bite of the mustard, the mayo is just there to put it together and that barbecue gives a great after taste with the grilled chicken. The texture leaves a nice mix of warmth and chill from the chicken and the lettuce. The company was different from the usual wrap. I found one of my old high school friends and he was sitting with his friends he found in wrestling. So I politely invited myself to sit next to them. I just chuckle to myself about the shirt selection of wrestlers, either really tight or really colorful. When I first sat myself down I found it funny as the other two kindly introduce themselves and I shake there hand just like protocol says to do. Then they both feel a little awkward when my high school friend doesn't  introduce himself to me. So they look a little awkward about the lack a protocol and introduce him to me for us just to reply with a laugh and tell them we are from the same high school. Now that protocol is established by everyone, a common ground was found by talking of the difference between Brazilian Jujitsu I know and wrestling they know is order to find something to talk about. Then schooling comes up about classes and I roll my weird sounding art class into talking about football by bringing up the point I had the running back in my class for the first week. We kindly split our ways now that the food is finished and know that some of us will rarely encounter each other again.

Um . . yeah . . .

I think this is fun actually. I look at the time, add ten minutes to it and then just type until the ten is up. Whatever comes to mind like honey mustard pretzels which I just ate or the diving platform at the pool because I can brag about it to my friend, or how beautiful my girlfriend is. I also hate to itch. It just bugs me because it has no reason to happen. It's not like my skin is dry or anything, it just really itches. Hey guess what?! Today is the official day that my girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and three months. Yay! I just think that is fun to talk about because I know pretty much every other relationship ends before college starts. It is funny to see how different people are realizing that they shouldn't have and now they are trying to get back together which is cool to see how I'm not the only one who kept their high school relationship going. It is a bummer when you don't get to hang out with your best fried because he might be going to a different school, but you just have to deal with that stuff and just talk and hang out occasionally trying to keep a friendship like that alive. But then its also fun to think about what is going to happen after college like with relationships, friendships, and even work relations and such. But who knows, just go with the flow and try to control it best you can but if God wills it, that is the way I'm going to go.

wrandom writing . . err random riting . . err . . nevermind

I love peanut butter. Well I actually like eating in general. So I just got done working on my clay project for 8 hours so I am really tired. Tired and hungry which is why I was talking about peanut butter which was the sandwich I was eating. I have also notice that I am very forgetful which I've known for quite a while. The reason I said that was because in typing about food and clay I have already thought of at least ten good topics to type about. It is just that by the time I get done typing, I forget what I was going to type about next. So I'll back track to tired because I remember what I was going to talk about. I was talking to someone while I was working on the clay and said that there are two main things I want to do when I'm tired other than sleep. That is eat and relax next to my girlfriend. Seeming that I could not relax next to my girlfriend, I managed to throw some peanut butter on bread and wash it down with some water. Now I'm going to eat some honey mustard pretzels because I love honey mustard. Honey, mustard an mayo are what make up honey mustard. Just a random fact which makes me think to all the random facts that people know. There is a lot of time in your life that is spent doing really random stuff and you start to gain this knowledge that you are never going to use. I mean in my case, how often am I going to need to know that Medusa is queen of the gorgons and was once a fair virgin who was rapped by Poseidon in the Temple of Athena. And then Athena punished Athena for not being a virgin and she had to take the side of the gods. And yet I know it just because I watch a show on Greek mythology. Another one is some girl's social security number that she said out loud once and I told her not to do that because people could remember it. She said no they wont so I recited it back to her and still know it to this day and that was over three years ago. Why I remember I have no idea but the strangest things get stuck and other things that would be useful like what I was thinking about two seconds ago just fade away. . .

Today was a very tiring day. I went to the PA grand canyon and hiked for a long time. The main reason I went was because I really wanted to scope out a great place to have picnic with my girlfriend before she has to go off to college. I just found it funny to hear different people's reactions toward having a picnic. From talking to the mothers and fathers to talking to some older woodsy guy I saw the different ways that people view relationships. It's just ridiculous to hear what some people say in response to relationships. It seems that whenever you start to talk to anyone about a relationships it is so hard to be thinking the same thing. When I talk to the father who also use to take his girlfriend, who is now his wife, he just up to hiking trials and just talk and relax with a small little picnic to have a reason to be sitting in the middle of the woods. It was nice talking to him about it because the way he thought about relationships was the same way I did. Just a casual date with no worries just like a friendship. That's the way it has been for a long time and there is no sense in changing it. But then when I was asking the other guy, i think he was a park ranger and still single, his mind was very movie like. The way he was talking about having a picnic was a picnic with all these different foods that could feed ten people and then an extremely romantic sunset as I whisper sweet nothings while gazing into her beautiful eyes. It was just interesting to see how different people can think about how a relationship can be and I can definitely attest to having a very different relationship than most anyone.

Spot the diff

I noticed in the essays that I feel like my narrative writing is more like the one written on video game addiction. I may realize they are not similar after I have written my own, but as of now that is the one i see my writing most like. I can see a major difference in the writing about being a hero because of the style that was involved. I saw a huge difference in the entire layout of the essay and also the transitions of the paper was very well put together.

  In the video game addiction paper, the audience could be anywhere from people who are addicting and looking to get out, to parents who's kids are addicted to video games, at least they think, and want to know how to stop it.

Metrosexual is name thy vanity

1.Straight men acting gay. Straight men are trying too hard to find love.

2. Gaining a clearer view on what men should do to find love. By describing the current metrosexual population and bringing a picture of the strong male figure. She also shows how men need to be able to provide for their woman.

3. She gives an opening for those males who are only putting on a show for women in order ti find love. She shows how guys just have to be guys. They should be the strong silent type that care, but heed to say so. She is relying on the male mind to just work they way it was created and for the male audience to see they do not have to act like prissy girls in order to find true love.

In reading others rebuttals, I found out how the way I get my thoughts across is not even close to the ways others get their ideas across. Whenever I try to get my thoughts across I find it affective to place things in bulleted numbered order. I have now found that this is labeled as unorganized. In reading others papers I just find it hard to follow, but then am informed it was also unorganized. Later on after going to the writing center I was again informed my rebuttal was still unorganized and was still uninformed clearly what organized is.

NanoWar

The main part in the discussion between Drexler and Smalley came down to whether or not a self replicating nanobot was able to be created. The scientist are not worried about the ways these nanobots are able to be produced rather than defending their reputations. The more in depth the arguments are made, the more their reputations are at risk. Smalley does a great job at showing ideas of how these nanobots can be achieved by using already existing nanostructures in order to manipulate molecules. Drexler's reminding of the original idea of the self-duplicating nanobots shows that his original argument to hold true in the end. In order to develop trustfulness, Smalley is a university professor and has also won a Noble Prize in Chemistry. For Drexler, he has done research with Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and also has his Ph.D. With Drexler's work, he started to come off the original idea of created a self-reproducing nanobot which Smalley pointed out in the following argument. Smalley seemed to have a kind of childish, not-ah . . . yeah-hah, air in his second argument about the fatty/sticky fingers of the nanobots. In the end I would side with Smalley because the whole point of the argument was whether self-replicating nanobots were able to be created. Even though Smalley could have gone about it with less of an in-your-face approach, he did defend his side in the end.

Three of a Kind

Jackson's three points about the context of Jordan's argument are as follows:
-Instead stating Jordan wanted the President to become impeached, she instead established her credit and decided to let the audience decide based on the facts that she had provided.
-Jordan also had to convince the audience she was making her aurgument based on something other than her political offiliation.
-Lastly, Jordan added personal insight by starting her aurgument by showing the Constitution was not perfect and followed it by how she has a citizen's responsibility to protect it.

The following are Jordan's three points about the text of Jordan's argument:
-Jackson reads Jordan's faith in the constitution "is whole, it is complete, it is total." This gives the reader knowledge of her thoughts about the constitution.
-He also reads Jordan's fact about impeachment stating "if the President is connected in any suspicious manner with any person and there be grounds to believe that he will shelter that person, he may be impeached. This draws out clear-cut reasoning to draw a conclusion to the issue.
-By ending her argument with a leading question, which the answer will give ample status to whether the President should be impeached, she keeps to not picking a side to the issue and again provides facts to determine a conclusion.

First and Foremost

I am not a huge fan of my own writing because whenever I have written for any of my teachers in the past, I never feel like there is any type of definitive answer to what was good in my essays. Without knowing what was good about my writings, I feel I have not been improving.
I have done research papers, poetry, and essays in the past. Even though I have received high grades for my writing in high school, I am still not happy with what I write. It may be I am not able to see any improvement myself or that there is not any improvement to be seen.
The one thing I would like to work on during this class is to be able to see an improvement in my writing all around.
